Your muscles provide you with strength, but to move with structure is power.

As the old saying goes “give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”.  If there is one thing I could give you in the uncertain times we live in, it is the ability to defend yourself and those closest to you.  Economic hardship pushing desperation, unrealistic governmental policy about handling the criminal element, rising crime rates, social instability and the looming threat of war seem to characterize our times and have many concerned about their safety.  I have devised a program of problem solving skills that integrates , ancient and modern martial art systems designed for combat, my experience in law enforcement, combat psychology, emergency medical services, marksmanship and many other forms of weaponry to help you survive just about any circumstance.

The dojo is a place of practice akin to a laboratory to facilitate exploration, discovery and push limits.  Since bodies don’t come with instruction manuals, a big part of the training is about building proprioception, or awareness of one’s own body in 3 dimensional space. Our methodology employs superior body mechanics to exploit the inherent structural weaknesses of the human body while learning how to keep your own out of reach.
